Episode 1006- She Shoots, She Scores

Mother-in-law Dolores is an outspoken traditionalist who believes women's lib has gotten out of hand. She's outraged that her 12-year-old granddaughter has recently given up figure skating to play hockey. According to Dolores, "girls should be girls" not hockey players. She blames son-in-law Scott for encouraging her granddaughter to take up a sport that is so aggressive and unlady-like. Scott wants to be supportive of his daughter's choices. He's had enough of his mother-in-law's provocative opinions and overbearing ways. He wants Dolores to stop imposing her outdated beliefs on his family. But this mother-in-law is a challenging opponent. In this episode, Ellie works with the family to help them overcome their differences and bridge their in-law divide.
